Myster Opening/Einweihung party ceremony

We started with a housewarming weekend that begun July 31, 2009 with an afternoon reception and barbecue for the neighbourhood with some 80 guests and then the next day, a larger party for our friends on August 1 from 15.00 hrs on with our good friend Fantuzzi and the band Keko Yoma from Chili as our musical entertainers. The opening ritual; started at 19.00 hrs. Some 100 people attended, more than 50 people stayed overnight, partly camping in the garden, some 35 found a place indoors. It turned out the house can accommodate rather large parties, some hundred people in the garden in good weather would be no problem. It was a great event, with music on stage, in the garden and even in the cellar bar, drumming going on there till very early in the morning, and not disturbing the neighbourhood! The people there came from many countries, many places and with very different worldviews and paths, but there was a great brother/sisterhood feeling, great food and good care for everybody. Na lang zoeken is het ons gelukt om een prachtig pand te vinden om te wonen en te werken. Een plek waar van alles kan, maar vooral een plek van ontmoeting met elkaar en met een ieder die zich aangesproken voelt door de uitnodiging om het masker te laten vallen en zichzelf te zijn.

Ons nieuwe huis staat in Breyell, zo’n 6 km over de grens bij Venlo en biedt ons naast een aantal royale ruimten, een prachtige tuin en een inpandig zwembad.

You are cordially invited to our house-warming party on August 1, 2009 in our new place MySTèR, located near Venlo just in Germany. The party for our friends starts in the afternoon on August 1, but will no doubt run into the next day, so you can stay over, just give us a call or email so we can prepare. We hope Fantuzzi will be our musical entertainer and we have a great band from Chili, Keko Yoma. But the garden is there for many other activities, a fire, singing, performances or your own little corner or mini-exhibit and of course swimming in our indoor pool, so bring swimgear. Trein/Train:

Station Venlo overstappen op de trein naar Münchengladbach (station Nettetal (dat is Breyell 2 haltes) (kaartje van DB kost 2€20 in DB automaat, dus niet de NS-automaat gebruiken maar de DB automaat (andere kant hal)) en uitstappen op het station Breyell. Loopafstand van station circa 150 m, rechts, rechts. Alternmatief fiets huren op station (2,95 heel leuk) en Kaldenkirchen breyell is 6 km.

Auto:

A73 naar Venlo – dan A67 (E34) en volg de borden naar Münchengladbach (61) en rij dan door Venlo naar de A61 en neem op de A61 de afslag Bruggen (nr.3). Volg de weg naar Bruggen-Bracht- (221) en ga bij de rotonde na plm 400 m links naar Breyell. Bij het verkeerslicht rechtdoor en vóór het spoor rechts. D.i. de Christian-Rötzel-Allee. Nr. 18 is aan de rechterkant. Pas op, veel controle voor hash op a61, dus anders Venlo Zuid nemen en binnendoor via Kaldenkirchen
