Halloween/Samhain: a pagan tradition and meaningful ritual

In a innovative and colorful ambiance we will greet the dead, honour the living and aspire to have the best party ever, until the wee hours of the morning!

These are dark times, the balance between freedom and security has shifted and the free spirit is at risk. Independent thinking is under attack, the politically correct are taking over, suppressing alternative ways of being. Amsterdam is fast losing its status as a freehaven for those, whose soul is at stake. The integrity of our bodies, our habeas corpus rights have been sacrificed at the altar of terror, of course in the disguise of anti-terror, but like under the darkest totalitarian regimes, you are now guilty if suspected and will be treated and punished as such.

We therefore need a place where we can preserve the light, the spiritual energy and the traditions of oneness. MySTèR has been such a place for 10 yrs in Amsterdam and 7 at Lijnbaansgracht before) and is now in Germany, just past Venlo. MySTèR has been and will be available as a place for music, rituals, lectures, workshops, magic, massage, meditations, sessions. There are no constraints as to what can happen there, as long as it honors the one Spirit in all of us.

We traditionally have a Halloween party for our associates, friends, enemies, Bhajan singers, in fact our extended family, this year starting already on Friday Oct 30, from 18.00 hrs (if you are hungry) onwards.

There is a 20 euro covercharge for unlimited food and drinks, but do try dress up (we have mask and lots of clothes available if you are out of inspiration) and the parties (there will be a few days of festivities) will go on late. You can dress up any way you like, it’s more than a theme party, just hide yourself or come out in a form and style you never dreamt of! There is a doorbitch to make sure you are dressed up or help you change at the spot!!

And meet those new friends you need for the dark months to come! But in order for us to plan do sign up (email) or call!

We charge 20 euro fr sleeping, drinks and food, all you can handle.

MySTèR invites you and everybody with the right intentions to come and join in this celebration. You have to dress up and be masked, representing your tradition and beliefs and you are invited to pledge, together and both with and without your mask at midnight, to keep the flame of freedom, of love and hope alive in these somewhat dark times. This in honor of the living and the dead, the ones that were before us and the ones that will come after us. Suggestions for acts, sorcery, healing, divination (tarot), ceremonies or action painting are welcome, help is needed, participation appreciated. We intend to have a ritual to rembember those who passed away and left some traces in our life.
